Losing any portion of your savings can be devastating. Many people have a financial planner or broker who they depend on. Virtually none of these advisors concentrate on the down side, the darker risk if you encounter financial calamity.
Protecting investments is what I think about. Guarding your nest egg is quite different than earning a greater return. Both are important. The decisions you make will determine your degree of financial safety. I am concerned with how you sidestep choices which may prove unfortunate later on.
I don’t control your investments, I can’t sell you an investment and therefore I look at financial matters solely based on protection.
Discussing financial issues frequently leads to career and work concerns. I spent 28 years in recruitment/headhunting and another 14 years as a talent scout in the music business. I learned early to pay attention to who survives and prospers and why? That’s where StrongStep began many years ago. As one client described it, StrongStep is like a full body scan emphasizing financial health and survival. It is largely non-technical, we don’t dismember your portfolio. Our interactions don’t require seeing your financial holdings.

Additional Background
The notion of preservation and survival in financial terms is not an exact science. My goal is to help anyone I talk with develop a heightened awareness for financial self preservation. It is a mindset developed over time.
I am occasionally asked where did this fascination with financial survival start? When talking with candidates for positions in Executive Search the conversations frequently angled to financial issues. My interest was piqued when I realized how few educated, experienced professionals earning upper incomes had an awareness about financial preservation.
Finally, I realized that most of us cannot turn to a lawyer, accountant, broker or even investment advisor to examine our protection for the downside. At least, not to my satisfaction. Investment professionals attempt to earn you more income on your holdings. That means taking appropriate risks. Focusing on ultimate capital preservation also involves risk assessment but with a different orientation.
Fees For Services
In person group presentations are available in Northern California. A group can be 3 or more people. There is not necessarily a cost for a group presentation as I hope a few attendees will book time with me later.
Cost for Individuals:
$75 for personal one on one or one on two phone conferences, 70 minutes.
Group phone conferences are available. A nominal fee is generally charged for participants.
