SUNDAY & ASSOCIATES, INC

Michael Sunday Presents

In 1966 while a dj at KMPX FM and later at KSAN FM in San Francisco I conceived and produced a series of extended audio histories of recording artists. Two were ultimately syndicated on FM stations, Steve Miller’s Radio Odyssey and Joe South, This South is Rising for Capitol Records. Those two led to two mixed artists projects for Mercury Records.
After completing these projects I moved on to Artist & Repertoire positions
in the music business.
Fast forward to 2008, after 29 years of working closely with business and technology executives in Executive Search and 14 prior years as an A&R Director at Capitol, CBS (Epic),Vanguard Records plus founding Waterhouse Records (22 albums)
I’m contacting interested parties for a new set of projects.
I intend to produce biographical audio and video portraits of musical artists and creative business innovators. My entire working life is concerned with how talented people build and develop their careers.
What had been limited audio experiences now can be wide ranging visual stories. Of great interest is bringing the life stories of musicians (and others) on to a
live stage as well.
Based on initial conversations live event promoters, vendors of creative products,
recording artists, film makers and distributors of video projects are demonstrating positive interest in this idea.
I will function as a producer and catalyst to bring Michael Sunday Presents projects to successful completion.
