Event Production
Laura Sunday, known as The Chili Empress and Queen Cuisine, has created 2 of the most beloved events in Petaluma. The 14th Annual Great Petaluma Chili Cook-off, Salsa and Beer Tasting takes place 5/7/11, and the 6th Annual Taste of Petaluma is on 8/27/11. Each event attracts over 1,000 attendees and is a major source of funding for Cinnabar Theater. These events gather together many restaurants, businesses, service organizations and individuals in our community for a truly Petaluma experience.
Laura also has created a dining/theater package called Cinna-Dinners, a Renaissance Feast and a Pirate Banquet. She is national sales manager for Ben Benson’s Steak House in Manhattan, for the sales of steak sauce, steak knives and dry rub created by the restaurant. She is also a dance teacher for Petaluma Valley Athletic Club with a large following of "Divas" who come twice a week to rock their socks off.
